LGBTQ groups condemned Target's recent decision to remove or relocate items celebrating the LGBTQ community following a conservative backlash.

Community Marketing & Insights, an LGBTQ market research firm, found that seven in 10 LGBTQ+ adults are more likely to patronize a business that advertises to their community.

Target's move came after critics posted videos of attacks on LGBTQ Pride displays and confrontations with employees in Target stores ahead of Pride Month.

The trouble started in April after Anheuser-Busch featured transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney in a promotional campaign and Mulvaney highlighted that on Instagram. The backlash gave birth to a moniker, "BudLighting." The Human Rights Campaign, the nation's largest LGBTQ advocacy group, accused the beer giant of caving to political pressure.

The new BMW 5-series sedan lets drivers change lanes just by looking at the side-view mirror. The first-of-its kind "active lane change assistant," will be available in October, the German automaker said.

While a motorist is driving, the vehicle suggests a lane change that the driver can confirm by looking at the corresponding side mirror. The new system lets drivers go long distances without having their hands on the steering wheel as long as they keep a "close eye" on traffic, BMW said.
