🎃 🎃 🎃 But first: Be sure to catch this animated Halloween classic for free, this weekend only.

Bolton indicted

Former National Security Advisor John Bolton is the latest prominent critic of President Donald Trump to be indicted. The Justice Department indicted Bolton Thursday over alleged mishandling of classified documents. He is another in a string of investigations against Trump's perceived enemies, including former FBI director James Comey, former special counsel Jack Smith, California Senator Adam Schiff, New York AG Letitia James and others. The charges against Bolton.

Airlifts in Alaska

Typhoon Halong's remnants devastated remote villages in Alaska, where rescue crews had to airlift hundreds of people out of harm's way . One person was killed and two people remain missing.

The storm brought high winds and 6-foot storm surges along the state's western coast. Hundreds of people have been displaced as the water pushed homes off foundations and into the sea.

L.A. on edge over ICE raids

Officials in Los Angeles County voted to declare a state of emergency this week as the Trump Administration amps up immigration enforcement in the region.

The emergency declaration enables the county to mobilize resources, coordinate interagency responses and request state (and federal) assistance for communities impacted by the sweeping ICE raids. County supervisors say the federal government has "created a climate of fear, leading to widespread disruption in daily life and adverse impacts to our regional economy."

An Illinois federal judge ordered ICE agents there to wear body cameras.
Prosecutors say a Chicago man tried to arrange the killing of an ICE official.

Haunted (White) House?

Is the White House... haunted?

The house's history is certainly full of untimely deaths and tragic figures. Some say the residence at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, DC , has a few ghostly government goblins. Presidents, first ladies and White House staffers have claimed they've heard strange sounds and encountered mysterious apparitions.
