Earlier this month, Subramanyam "Subu" Vedam was ordered released after being exonerated for a murder he did not commit. But before he was freed from a Pennsylvania prison, Vedam, who was born in India but came to the U.S. with his parents at 9 months old, was taken into custody by immigration agents.
