We've moved closer to the weekend, Daily Money readers. It's Brett Molina here with your Thursday headlines for Money and Tech.

Following the death of George Floyd, a Black man who died under the knee of a white police officer in Minneapolis, several companies stepped forward to voice support for the Black community.  However, the messages stand in contrast to how well represented African Americans are within those companies' highest positions . A USA TODAY analysis found of the 279 top executives listed at the top 50 companies in the S&P 100, only five were Black, including two who recently retired.
