Do you live in the safest (or most dangerous) city?

What makes a city safe? The answer isn't simple. It's not just about crime data, which can be flawed and difficult to compare across cities. It could also take into account protection from natural disasters and financial safety. That was the case for an analysis published by WalletHub in October, which found Warwick, Rhode Island, to be the safest city in the country.

But determining where Americans feel the safest isn't an exact science, and often requires nuance. See which cities are considered safest and most dangerous.
