I defended Graham Platner. Now I want him gone.

Graham Platner, Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate in Maine, leaves the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee offices on June 2, 2026.

Democrats, both within the state of Maine and nationally, have abandoned Graham Platner. Voters should do the same.

Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Graham Platner campaigns on June 9, 2026, in Blue Hill, Maine.

Platner was always a bad candidate. Democrats didn't care.

Democrats had every chance to back out on Graham Platner before it was too late. Now he holds all the cards – and they can't win Maine without them.

President Donald Trump promotes Trump Accounts at the U.S. Treasury Department in Washington, DC, on Jan. 28, 2026. Parents or legal guardians have at least two options for opening an account. The latest, and easiest, is to file IRS Form 4547 online at TrumpAccounts.gov. The form will ask for dates of birth, Social Security numbers and contact information. As of July 4, 2026, about 6 million children have been enrolled in Trump Accounts, including 1.4 million babies who are eligible for
 the $1,000 federal seed money.

Trump Accounts are free money. Don't put politics over your kids.

Six million families have already opened Trump Accounts for their kids. Letting politics get in the way of yours could cost your child millions.

President Donald Trump arrives with first lady Melanie Trump to sign the One Big Beautiful Bill Act at the White House in Washington, DC, on July 4, 2025.

Trump's 'beautiful' bill is ugly for voters – and Democrats know it

It's been a year since Trump signed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. Now the people are not happy. And the Democrats are haunting the Republicans.

Abdul El-Sayed, a Democratic Michigan candidate for the U.S. Senate, campaigns on May 3, 2026, in Detroit. El-Sayed is a former Wayne County and Detroit health director.

Democratic socialists may be winning now, but they won't in November

Democratic socialists won safe seats in New York and Colorado. Michigan will test if the Democrats' far-left strategy can work in a swing state.

A commuter sits as members of the group Patriot Front ride the Metro in Washington, DC, on July 4, 2026. The Patriot Front members marched to drummers near the U.S. Capitol and the Union Station transit center, before taking Metro trains to a District of Columbia suburb. The group is a secretive organization founded in 2017 by Thomas Rousseau following the "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Virginia,
where counterprotester Heather Heyer was killed.

Of course Trump's administration won't condemn White supremacist group

White supremacist rhetoric is the kind of free speech our country tolerates. Yet when it comes to leftist free speech, there is no room for error.

President Donald Trump holds up a red card as he meets with FIFA President Gianni Infantino in the Oval Office of the White House in Washington, DC, on Aug. 28, 2018. Trump confirmed reports on July 6, 2026, that he called Infantino asking for a review of a red card given to U.S. striker Folarin Balogun during a World Cup match.

Trump got FIFA to reverse a red card. Why the outrage?

A red card, a phone call to FIFA, and a firestorm. Of course President Trump got involved ‒ this is who he is.

World Cup referee Raphael Claus shows Folarin Balogun of the U.S. team a red card during the match between USA and Bosnia and Herzegovina on July 1, 2026, in Santa Clara, California.

Did Trump ruin the World Cup for US by calling FIFA? Take our poll.

As a fan, I thought USMNT striker Folarin Balogun's red card was unfair. But did Trump go too far by calling FIFA president personally? Tell us here.

I'm anti-Trump, but I'm glad I went to the Great American State Fair

I was feeling surprisingly patriotic this July 4. Rather than bemoan Trump's Freedom 250 controversy, I saw the Great American State Fair for myself.

Police officers in Newark, New Jersey, clear an area outside of the Delaney Hall detention center during ongoing protests against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement on June 6, 2026.

Pushing police into immigration enforcement won't keep you safe

President Donald Trump signed a $70 billion funding bill, pushing law enforcement into immigration enforcement. But this is more than a budget story.

All of the headlines, none of the chaos.
