Texas mass shooting comes on anniversary of another Texas mass shooting

Eight years to the day after the Fort Hood, Texas, shooting that left 13 people dead, another gunman at a Texas church 150 miles away killed 26 people and wounded 20. Police said Devin Kelley, 26, opened fire at the First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs, Texas, with a semiautomatic rifle apparently because of a " domestic situation" involving his mother-in-law, a congregant at the church. Officials said the massacre is not being investigated as a terrorist attack. Many children were among those killed, including an 18-month old and the pastor's 14-year-old daughter . The shooting spree might have been even more deadly if not for a local resident who grabbed his rifle and exchanged fire with the gunman. Sunday's rampage was the fourth deadliest in the long list of U.S. mass shooting since Fort Hood, and some Democratic lawmakers are issuing passionate calls for gun control legislation. President Trump said "mental health is the problem here" and this "isn't a guns situation."

"We've got a serious problem."

Netflix users, beware this email scam

An email scam is targeting Netflix's 110 million subscribers, saying their billing information needs to be updated and linking to a fake Netflix website. They're asked to log in and enter information including credit card numbers. The streaming service says it sometimes sends emails asking users to update their information, and people should always verify the link to make sure it is real. And you thought an Egg McMuffin for lunch was awesome

Remember rejoicing when McDonald's finally introduced an all-day breakfast menu? We'll soon have another reason to praise the Golden Arches. The fast-food giant revealed it will bring back a deep discount menu , offering grub for a low price. The move could give McDonald's a chance to win back customers who ditched the chain when it dropped the Dollar Menu. McDonald's estimates it lost a half-billion customers in the four years since then. That's a lot of unsold cheeseburgers.

Great. Now there's politics in the bourbon

Guilty pleasures like bourbon and "Bad Moms" are now getting dragged into today's bitter political debates. Abortion rights opponents and Vice President Pence's supporters are starting a #BoycottBeam campaign after it was revealed that Jim Beam spokeswoman Mila Kunis has been making donations to Planned Parenthood in Pence's name. The actress said she was doing it to voice her disagreement with the conservative Pence.
