The Daily Money: Time to convert your home to solar power? ☀️☀️☀️

Is it time to convert your home to solar power? Plus, a major recall on multiple beverages has been expanded to more brands. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

It is finally Friday, Daily Money readers. It's Brett Molina here with your latest headlines.

Remember that recall of 53 beverages including brands such as Oatly, Glucerna and Premier Protein drinks? More products are now involved.

Company Lyons Magnus has added 30 additional products including Ensure and Pediasure. The reason? A potential botulism contamination as well as the previously mentioned Cronobacter sakazakii organism.

If you have any of the products mentioned in the recall, don't drink them, the Food and Drug Administration warns.

Clostridium botulinum can bring on a severe form of food poisoning, the FDA said, while the Cronobacter sakazakii can cause bloodstream infections and meningitis.

Is solar power worth it? ☀️

Converting your home to solar power has many benefits. It's better for the environment, and it saves you money over time. But there are several questions you have to consider if you want to switch, such as the type of system to use as well as whether you want to rent or buy a solar power system.

One potential incentive for moving to solar: The Inflation Reduction Act, passed by the Senate on Sunday, would extend a program offering a 30% tax credit to households installing solar panel systems.
