US women looking for more World Cup glory

⚽The 2023 World Cup is underway in Australia and New Zealand. The U.S. women, ranked No. 1 in the world, are seeking a third consecutive title and fifth overall. The USWNT is also undergoing a generational shift, with more than half the roster playing in their first major international tournament, including rising star Sophia Smith, 22. She scored two goals in the opening game, helping the team soar 3-0 against Vietnam.
