Less than two weeks after President Joe Biden gave his son, Hunter, a "full and unconditional" pardon, the president announced he is commuting the sentences of nearly 1,500 people who were placed on home confinement during the COVID pandemic and pardoning 39 others convicted of nonviolent crimes.
