Racist figurine edited into Tim Walz photo

The figurine was digitally added to the image. Walz shared the original photo on social media without the object in the background.

The video is miscaptioned. It doesn't show the Jan. 7 earthquake that hit the western China region. It shows an earthquake that struck Japan in 2024.

New Jersey woman Debrina Kawam was burned to death on the subway. Posts sharing an AI-generated photo misidentified the victim as Amelia Carter.
