Good morning, Daily Money team, it's Nathan wishing you a full tank sort of Thursday. |
Did you have the urge to fill up your gas tank yesterday? Yeah, me too. But I resisted. I've got half a tank right now, and I'm confident it will last through the weekend, when things should be returning to normal. Most of the problem is due to panic buying, NOT due to supply issues. |
But hey, this is a judgment-free zone here at Daily Money. Fill up if you have to! But maybe think twice about whether you really have to. |
And whatever you do, DON'T FILL PLASTIC BAGS WITH GAS. |
On to our ... |
💡 INSIGHT OF THE DAY: As of 7 a.m. today, here are the latest gas station outage figures, according to GasBuddy: North Carolina (71%), Virginia (55%), South Carolina (54%), Washington, D.C. (47%), Tennessee (34%), Maryland (34%), Florida (31%), Alabama (9%), Mississippi (7%), West Virginia (6%), Delaware (5%), Kentucky (3%) and New Jersey (1%). |
