Good morning, Daily Money friends, it's Nathan back after a few days off! |
I heard this over the weekend, and it's still mind-boggling: The limited number of fans allowed to attend the Olympics in Tokyo will be prohibited from cheering. |
On to our ... |
π‘ INSIGHT OF THE DAY: Thieves are targeting the Chevrolet Malibu to steal airbags. Apparently Malibu's steering wheel is easy to remove, making it a prime target. This reminds me of a story I wrote in 2018 about how Hondas were becoming targets of airbag thefts. Here's a thought: Maybe the auto industry should make these things harder to swipe. BTW, because of the thriving black market for airbags, never buy one from a third-party retailer. Get it from a certified dealer or reputable repair place. |
π° And here are more stories you won't want to miss: |
1. Today is Day 2 of Amazon Prime Day. Here's what you need to know. |
2. Walgreens announced a COVID vaccine incentive: How does $25 in store credit sound? |
3. Companies are playing down price hikes. Smart investors need to embrace them. |
4. This is a tough one: How should bosses handle an employee with poor writing skills and email etiquette? |
5. Is a Roth IRA right for you? Ask yourself these two questions to find out. |
6. "They eat like a wing, but with more meat": Wingstop launches Thighstop amid chicken wing shortage. |
A "thighstop" sounds like something a goalie would do in hockey. |
