We don't normally think of soap as something that gets recalled for bacteria since of course we don't ingest soap – unless you're a kidtricked into the Tide Pod challenge or Ralphie after saying the Queen Mother of swear words. |
But The Laundress brand has recalled nearly 8 million units over the possible presence of several illness-causing bacteria that can be inhaled or enter the body through the eyes or a cut. At least 11 people have reported infections. |
