What happened this weekend? Game show icon Bob Barker, the tanned and charming host of "The Price is Right," died at 99. Tropical Storm Idalia formed and could slam Florida this week. And three Black people were killed in a racially-motivated shooting in Jacksonville, Florida.

Bob Barker was born Dec. 12, 1923. He spent nearly 18 years as the host of "Truth or Consequences," and was on the money with "The Price is Right" starting in 1972. He joked with contestants who "came on down" to show off their knowledge of the cost of everything from groceries to cars for 35 years. Barker has 19 Daytime Emmy Awards, including a Lifetime Achievement Award in 1999.
