Tolls were suspended along Hurricane Milton evacuation route

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis ordered a toll suspension for Oct. 7-14.

A spokesperson for the North Carolina Department of Public Safety dismissed the claim as a "rumor."

The miscaptioned video predates Milton's landfall in Florida.

Both Norah O'Donnell and Margaret Brennan have appeared on their respective CBS programs since the claim of their purported firing began circulating.
