The Daily Money: Tesla Autopilot under investigation

In today's Daily Money newsletter, we have insights on Tesla Autopilot, Black homeownership and rollover IRAs. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

Good morning, it's Nathan wishing you a happy week ahead!

Have you ever been behind the wheel of a vehicle while it steers, accelerates and brakes itself? I have, several times. It's as freaky as it sounds.

Maybe too freaky. The National Highway Traffic Administration is investigating Tesla's Autopilot system after 11 crashes in which Tesla cars struck vehicles parked at the scene of emergencies.

This would be a good time for Tesla's public relations team to weigh in. But CEO Elon Musk eliminated Tesla's PR department.

I haven't gotten a response from Tesla when requesting comment for my stories in about a year.

On to our ...

💡 INSIGHT OF THE DAY: The investment adviser you've asked for guidance on a rollover IRA might not be acting in your best interests. New rules implemented by the Biden administration are expected to change that. But some advisers may not even try to qualify under the new rules and could instead choose not to provide such guidance anymore.

📝 A STORY I WISH I WROTE: During the pandemic, many of us have barely been able to keep up with our assignments while working remotely. But that's not the case for everyone. This fascinating story by the Wall Street Journal is about Americans who are secretly working two remote jobs at once simultaneously. WHAT.

📰 And here are more stories you won't want to miss:

1. The "epidemic after the epidemic": Black homeownership has stalled during the pandemic.

2. Considering buying a condo? If you come across any of these red flags, walk away.

3. Some retailers are just getting back on their feet. How big of a setback will the Delta variant be?

Dear bosses, I swear I'm not working for anyone else.
