Happy Tuesday everyone. It's Charisse Jones with your Daily Money headlines.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is looking into reports from some Tesla owners that their seatbelts are detaching while they drive.

The inquiry affects roughly 50,000 Tesla Model X SUVs from the model years 2022 and 2023.

The complaints that sparked the investigation came from two Tesla drivers.

"Both vehicles were delivered to the owners with insufficiently connected anchor linkages," NHSTA wrote, adding that the seat belts were not appropriately connected when the vehicle was manufactured.

This latest investigation of an alleged malfunction comes on the heels of another NHSTA inquiry into 2023 Model Y Teslas after complaints that the vehicle's steering wheels could detach while the SUV is in motion.

Disney did not immediately respond to USA TODAY's request for comment.

"A second, larger round of notifications will happen in April with several thousand more staff reductions, and we expect to commence the final round of notifications before the beginning of the summer to reach our 7,000-job target," according to a separate CNBC report.
