'It looked like Armageddon': 5 dead as California wildfires rage

Several houses along the ocean side of Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu went up in flames Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025, as crews struggled to keep up with the Palisades Fire that erupted a day earlier.

At least 5 are dead and thousands have fled their homes as multiple wildfires fueled by Santa Ana winds blasted across Southern California.
