| Black Friday 2021: The best deals on Apple Watches, iPads, AirPods Pro, and more. | Apple | |
Good morning, Daily Money team. This is Charisse Jones filling in for Nathan and wishing you a happy Thanksgiving Eve! |
π Worried you can't get that Play Station in time for the holidays? Here's how to get around that tangled supply chain. A snarled supply chain may make certain clothing brands, gadgets and toys harder to get this holiday season. But Black Friday deals and secondhand items can help you make sure there's still plenty under the tree. |
π° The Daily Money is USA TODAY's Monday-through-Friday-morning roundup of all things personal finance, business and tech. If this email was forwarded to you or if you found it online, you can subscribe for free here! |
On to our ... |
π‘ INSIGHT OF THE DAY: When can I hit that Black Friday sale? The sales have already started at many of the biggest retailers, including Target and Kohl's, but it's not too late to snag a discount. Just make sure you check store hours if you're heading out. They may vary, and curbside pick up may be available at times when the store's doors are still shuttered. |
π‘ π‘ BONUS INSIGHT: Over the hill and through the woods ...The kids may get a little bored watching license plates during the drive to Grandma's for Thanksgiving. We've got a few suggestions for mobile games that can keep them entertained. |
π° And here are more stories you won't want to miss: |
1. Flying this holiday weekend? Yes, you'll need to wear a mask and no, you can't carry on cranberry sauce. The Transportation Security Administration is anticipating 20 million flyers will flow through the nation's airports over the entire Thanksgiving period. That's twice the number of passengers who traveled last year. Here are some things to know as you head to the airport. |
2. Here's a plan for shopping Black Friday. To snag the best deals, look into collecting coupons, getting cash back through rebates, and signing up for email alerts from retailers if the gift you want is out of stock. |
3. Getting take out on Thanksgiving? It may be harder than you think. Most restaurant chains will be shuttered on the holiday, including Chick-fil-A and Chipotle, and it's likely too late to order a full meal from the eateries that are catering Thanksgiving dinner. But a few spots might be open, including select Starbucks, Waffle House and McDonald's locations. |
