Cars: Ford just disclosed plans to keep traditional F-150 customers happy

Ford plans to reveal a refreshed F-150 hybrid pickup at the Detroit auto show in September 2023 as part of its overall strategy to sell more hybrid vehicles.

While competitors pivot from ICE vehicles to all-electric, Ford plans to step up its production of hybrids to offer consumers a different option.

The recall covers Hyundai's Sonata midsize car from the 2015 through 2015 model years, and Sonata gas-electric hybrids from 2016 and 2017. Kia's Sedona minivan from   2015 through 2017 also is affected.

Hyundai recalled certain Palisade, Tucson, Sonata, Elantra and Kona vehicles. Kia recalled some editions of the Seltos, Soul and Sportage vehicles.

Ford is recalling its top selling vehicle because parking brakes may turn on unexpectedly

Ford is recalling some F-150 pickup trucks from manufactured from 2021-2023 after owners reported electric parking brakes activating unexpectedly.

Ford recalls over 150,000 vehicles for two separate issues

Ford Transit Connect models from 2014-2016 may have issues with doors, while several 2023 models are recalled for issues with the instrument panel.
