Trump arraigned, pleads not guilty

A grim-faced Donald Trump was placed under arrest and pleaded not guilty in Washington Thursday on federal charges that he tried to steal the 2020 election. If you're keeping score, this is his third arrest and arraignment this year. The former president warmed up for his court appearance by calling for the trial to be moved from heavily Democratic Washington, D.C., to a more Republican-friendly place like West Virginia. "This Indictment is all about Election Interference!!!" Trump – the front-running Republican candidate for 2024 – said in a Truth Social post. Our live coverage from inside the courtroom.

In an Instagram post Thursday , Lizzo said the allegations are from former employees who "already publicly admitted that they were told their behavior on tour was inappropriate and unprofessional." In the suit, three former dancers claim they were victims of harassment, assault, false imprisonment and disability discrimination, in addition to other allegations. Lizzo said she is open with self-expression and her sexuality and said there isn't anything she takes more seriously than the respect women deserve. What's the lawsuit about?
