June is Pride Month. What does that mean in 2024?

🏳️‍🌈Good morning, Short List family. I'm John Riley , and today's edition of The Short List is dedicated to Pride Month, celebrating the LGBTQ community and the fight for equal rights.🏳️‍🌈 Pride Month began as a commemoration of the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in New York. Today, in addition to honoring LGBTQ love and joy, it's a time to highlight important issues the community faces.
