Biden pushes SCOTUS term limits

If you're catching up with President Joe Biden's plan for the Supreme Court, keep in mind that he didn't endorse a proposal that has long been on the liberal wishlist: expanding the size of the nine-member court. Biden is urging Congress to end lifetime seats for the Supreme Court's nine justices with term limits that would mean future justices could not serve beyond 18 years. Will his proposal pass a highly-divided Congress?

Olympic update: Where are all the other swimmers?

USA's Katie Ledecky was alone at the head of the pack Tuesday morning in a heat of the women's 1,500m, surging far ahead of the other athletes in the long-distance event. Ledecky's massive win kicked off a day of action Tuesday: At least six U.S. squads are competing across five team sports, with 26 sports in total in action, including Simone Biles and the U.S. women's gymnastics team competing in the team final. Taylor Swift responds to stabbing in England

Taylor Swift says she is "at a complete loss" after a mass stabbing at a Swift-themed youth dance class in Southport, United Kingdom, left three children dead and 10 others injured. A 17-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder, following the incident. Read more
