Trump wants $6 million in legal fees from Georgia county |
Trump's lawyers asked Fulton County, Georgia, to reimburse the president $6.2 million for the cost of defending an election racketeering case alleging he tried to overturn the results of the 2020 election. |
The charges were dropped in November after state courts removed Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis from the case for having a romantic relationship with another prosecutor. |
