Don't expect a swift return to $3 gas
|
The national average gas price rose to $4.16 per gallon yesterday. Some relief came to crude oil prices after President Donald Trump announced a two-week ceasefire deal with Iran on April 7.

But the ceasefire is fragile after Iran sealed off the channel once again on Wednesday, in response to Israel’s continued bombing of Lebanon. Vice President JD Vance will lead in-person peace talks in Pakistan this weekend, with both sides claiming to have won the war.
