We've hit the middle of the week, Daily Money readers. It's Brett Molina here to deliver your fresh Money and Tech headlines for Wednesday.

The coronavirus pandemic has placed so many aspects of our lives on hold, including retirement. Steep declines on Wall Street and layoffs fueled by the virus are leaving many Americans to revisit their plans, potentially putting off retirement to recoup their lost funds.

Finally, the combination of a pandemic and misinformation online could cause serious health consequences, especially for older Americans. That's why journalism nonprofit Poynter Institute is launching a program aimed at people 50 and older to help them separate fact from fiction.
