💡 INSIGHT OF THE DAY: Credit card surcharges are when a retailer charges you extra for the right to pay with a credit card. Why do they do that? Because they pay a percentage of each credit card transaction in the form of processing fees. But it turns out that credit card surcharges are illegal in five states : Colorado, Connecticut, Kansas, Maine and Massachusetts. |
