The Daily Money

Tuesday, December 28

Good morning, Daily Money readers. This is Jayme Deerwester back with you after a week's respite, ready to take you through the remaining days of 2021.

The bad news: it may force many restaurant, store, hotel and other workers to quarantine if they test positive under a federal mandate, set to take effect on Feb. 9. Such worker absences could become widespread, particularly at workplaces where employees can't work remotely.
