CNBC anchor Hadley Gamble accused former NBCUniversal chief executive Jeff Shell of sexual harassment and sex discrimination in a complaint to the company, according to reports. |
Comcast, NBCUniversal's parent company, said Sunday that Shell was exiting after an investigation into a complaint of "inappropriate conduct." Shell in a statement said he had "an inappropriate relationship with a woman in the company." |
Comcast said the investigation found evidence Shell had sexually harassed a female employee. |
Gamble's lawyer, Suzanne McKie, said the complaint came from Gamble, The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times reported. |

The average intern earned hourly pay of $24.63 last year, up 11% from 2021, with the highest pay at $54.38, according to Glassdoor data. |
Fintech company Stripe topped Glassdoor's list of highest paid internships, with an average monthly salary of $9,064. Online gaming platform Roblox followed with a monthly pay of $9,017, and semiconductor company Nvidia placed third with $8,280. |
