๐Ÿ”ต Leaked documents crisis: The arrest this week of a 21-year-old Massachusetts Air National Guardsman on charges that he leaked classified documents about the war in Ukraine raised some troubling national security questions:

"It really brings into question why anyone at Otis Air Force Base would need access to such to this type of high level strategic classified information," said Don Christensen, a former top prosecutor for the Air Force.

⚖️ 'Strange sisterhood' of Trump accusers: In the wake of Donald Trump's indictment on hush-money charges, USA TODAY spoke to four women who say they are victims of sexual harassment or battery by the former president.

The accusers said the indictment signals a step closer to holding Trump accountable for his actions. But they fear a repeat of 2016, where his alleged misconduct fuels his base and shields him from consequences as he heads into the 2024 presidential election.

"There is this millisecond of hope that maybe he will have to answer for at least some of his actions," said Samantha Holvey. "Then it was followed by the thought that his supporters probably won't even care."

๐Ÿ–ฅ️ Can AI cheating be stopped?: As students more frequently use artificial intelligence for their assignments, higher education officials across the nation are struggling to address how to uncover cheating and avoid making false accusations of cheating. Many companies are developing plagiarism detection software they claim can detect when students use AI to complete coursework. But how sure can these tools be?

"We really don't want anyone making definitive academic decisions out of our detector," said Edward Tian, creator of AI detection tool GPTZero. "The nature of AI-generated content is changing constantly."
