Hegseth's generals meeting will stay a mystery. That's by design.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth speaks during a ceremony at the Pentagon outside Washington, DC, on Sept. 19, 2025, honoring prisoners of war.

President Trump has benefited from news coverage of the Pentagon. Why is his administration now trying to limit it?

Jimmy Kimmel returned to "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Sept. 23, 2025, almost a week after the show's suspension.

Face it: Kimmel stared down Trump and won – easily

Regarding Jimmy Kimmel's brief suspension, I haven't seen enough people stating the obvious: The comedian won. Bigly. Donald Trump lost. Also bigly.

President Donald Trump boards Air Force One to return to Washington, DC, on Sept. 14, 2025.

Poll shows why Americans trust Trump, GOP over Democrats

Immigration, crime and the economy are some of the top issues Americans cared about in 2024 election. Republicans have been proactive on all three.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth giving remarks at a 9/11 memorial at the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2025, in Arlington, Virginia.

Trump is right: Hegseth's new press policy won't stop reporters

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth's attempts to control what media report about the Defense Department are illegal and will ultimately be ineffective.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. wants to place a public label on bottles of acetaminophen (Tylenol and similar products), warning pregnant women that its use during pregnancy is associated with their children exhibiting autism.

We need more research on Tylenol and autism. My son deserves it.

If the Trump administration's claim about acetaminophen use turns out to be true, then this is not fearmongering. This is a public health reckoning.

President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump arrive at the United Nations in New York City on Sept. 23, 2025. Just after they got on the escalator, it lurched to a halt. The first lady waited a few seconds before walking the rest of the way up, followed by the president and administration officials.

I'll always remember where I was when Trump's UN escalator stopped

I'll always remember where I was on the day an escalator at the United Nations stalled, forcing my president, Donald Trump, to climb a set of stairs.

Jimmy Kimmel grew emotional about Charlie Kirk's death in a monologue marking his return to late-night.

Biden openly tried to silence speech. Trump shouldn't do the same.

Trump administration officials have recently said alarming things about free speech and what it entails.

"Hacks" star Hannah Einbinder, in accepting her first career Emmy win in the supporting actress comedy category, concludes her speech Sept. 14, 2025, in Los Angeles with support for the Philadelphia Eagles and Gaza and how she feels about Immigration and Customs Enforcement: "Go birds, (expletive) ICE and free Palestine."

I've changed my mind. Celebrity opinions are important, actually.

I'm fearful America is becoming a country that suppresses dissent. After Jimmy Kimmel, how will the rest of us be punished for what we say?

All of the headlines, none of the chaos.
