If Trump were anyone else, we'd back away slowly

Ranting about Tylenol and escalators while seeking revenge on his enemies, Trump is showing us one simple thing: He is desperate and declining. ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌  ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌

President Donald Trump, with Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. at the White House, delivers remarks linking autism to childhood vaccines and to the use of popular pain medication Tylenol on Sept. 22, 2025.

President Donald Trump in New York City on Sept. 23, 2025.

Trump's vengeful actions are real risk for Republicans in midterms

The White House has publicly defended the president's calls for prosecutions of political opponents. That's a liability for Republicans in 2026.

Former Vice President Kamala Harris speaks at an event on June 6, 2025, in Los Angeles.

Democrats' reaction is more telling than Harris' book

I was someone who wanted to see Harris move the Democrats forward. Instead, it seems she had to conform to the party as it existed under Biden.

Former FBI Director James Comey testifies in 2017 in front of the Senate Intelligence Committee in Washington, DC.

The case against James Comey is weak. It almost doesn't matter.

President Trump has spent years using America's legal system to silence and coerce competitors and critics. Now he's spending your money to do it.

Kansas City Chiefs' Travis Kelce celebrates with musician Taylor Swift after winning the Super Bowl on Feb. 11, 2024, in Las Vegas.

Swift waited until she was 35 to get engaged. What's wrong with that?

Our children can learn something from Taylor Swift's journey, such as breaking off relationships with the wrong partners in search of the right one.

A Yale College banner hangs on the campus of Yale University on Commencement Day, in New Haven, Connecticut, on May 19, 2025.

College students are afraid of debate. We have to change that.

I encourage Gen Z to adopt the bare minimum of humility and acknowledge the fact that they may be wrong about a thing or two.

Charlottesville, Virginia, is home to the University of Virginia, founded in 1819 by Thomas Jefferson, the nation's third president. Pictured here is the Rotunda, which was built between 1822 and 1826 and designed by Jefferson himself. Though it is one of the university's original buildings, it was the last structure on the campus' Lawn, or Academical Village, to be completed due to its $60,000 cost.

Conservatives shouldn't eliminate DEI. We should change it.

The Trump administration's order to eliminate DEI programs is misguided. Instead, realign them to include viewpoint and ideological diversity.

The US flag flies at half-staff in honor of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk who was shot and killed earlier today in Utah, on the North Lawn of the White House in Washington, D.C., on Sept. 10, 2025.

What do The President's House and The People's House have in common?

There is no shortage of firsts, lasts, onlys, mosts and nevers in White House history. But there are plenty of surprises.

All of the headlines, none of the chaos.
