Autism groups respond to Trump claims |
The Trump administration announced on Monday it had found the "answer to autism" — a claim experts, advocacy groups and the autism community are calling dangerous and regressive. |
What happened: In a press conference, President Donald Trump, alongside Health and Human Services Secretary RFK Jr. and other officials, claimed that Tylenol use during pregnancy could contribute to the development of autism in children, a contrast to current medical guidelines that say acetaminophen, the generic form of Tylenol, is safe to use. |

Kimmel is back on ABC tonight |
"Jimmy Kimmel Live!" is returning to TV on Tuesday, less than a week after the Walt Disney Company announced it had pulled Jimmy Kimmel's late-night show off the air due to controversial comments about the death of Charlie Kirk. But while Kimmel will return to Disney-owned ABC, a Sinclair representative said in a statement to USA TODAY it will not air Kimmel, "replacing it with news programming." It's still unclear whether Nexstar will do the same. |

Trump to address UN General Assembly |
President Trump is set to address the UN General Assembly on Tuesday for the first time since returning to office. But the president will likely have little to offer a weakened United Nations and worried allies. Trump is expected to use his platform to take a victory lap on a handful of smaller conflicts he says he solved as U.S. allies seek answers about Gaza, Ukraine and America's role in the overseas wars. The big question: Will Trump respond to countries such as France, Canada and Great Britain recognizing a Palestinian state? |

A pastor's prediction the Rapture will occur Tuesday or Wednesday has prompted TikTok mania, with people believing the end of the world is here posting about their final days. South African pastor Joshua Mhlakela predicted the Rapture, or Second Coming of Jesus, prompting #RaptureTok to go viral on TikTok and social media. Content is emerging with people offering tips, sharing jokes, telling personal stories and of people appearing to quit their jobs, among other things, in preparation for judgment day. Tens of thousands of TikTok videos mention "rapture" this week. |
