King Charles III is the first British monarch to address the U.S. Congress since his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, did so in 1991. On Tuesday, the King spoke to the legislature amid the strained relationship between the two nations over the war with Iran, NATO and tariffs. It's part of the royals' four-day visit to the U.S.

Jimmy Kimmel is in trouble with the Trumps. Again. The late-night host made a joke about first lady Melania Trump days before the shooting at the White House Correspondents' dinner, saying she had "a glow like an expectant widow." The first lady fired back on social media, and a short time later, so did the president, who's calling on ABC and its parent company, Disney, to fire Kimmel. It's the second time Kimmel has run afoul of the administration as a result of one of his jokes.

Is Costco Thunderdome for shoppers? 🛒 😱
|
Everything is bigger at Costco, the popular warehouse-style stores where supersized deals and a dizzying array of stock from food to sheets, jewelry to tires, TVs to toilet paper can make shoppers feel overwhelmed, overjoyed or overstimulated. From ancient Greece to a galaxy far, far away, the summer movie season has a blockbuster lineup of epic, sci-fi, superheroes and heroines to draw film fans to theaters. "The Mandalorian and Grogu," "The Odyssey," "Toy Story 5" and a live-action "Moana" are some of the big releases, but there's also a Nate Bargatze comedy, a historical D-Day drama, even a legal thriller of sorts with a certain cartoon coyote and a company whose products keep literally blowing up in his face.
