Americans claiming unemployment during the pandemic will see a lighter check soon with the $600 federal benefit set to expire. How will they cope? For some, it may mean cutting back on groceries. But other Americans may have to skip their rent or mortgage without the extra help. |
Finally, this fall is going to look a lot like summer, which is going to look a lot like spring: Americans are staying at home due to the pandemic. A Harris Poll survey found more than 60% of Americans said it's likely they will work from home this fall. Meanwhile, two-thirds of Americans believe their kids will be learning from home instead of at school. As for trick-or-treating this Halloween? It might be time to get creative. |
