An ad boycott against Facebook has drawn several big names: Starbucks, Target, and Verizon, to name a few. Critics who started the boycott have recommendations they want Facebook to implement to curb hate speech. But there's one problem: the departure of these advertisers for July and beyond may not be enough to change Mark Zuckerberg's mind. |
Big news in the food delivery business: Uber is planning to acquire Postmates in an all-stock deal valued at $2.65 billion. Uber currently operates Uber Eats, but plans to still run Postmates as a separate app. It's all part of a plan to catch the frontrunner in the growing food delivery market: DoorDash. |
