Welcome to Tuesday, Daily Money readers. It's Brett Molina here to deliver the latest Money and Tech headlines straight to your inbox. |
Shopping malls can't catch a break. They pivoted to more experiences such as gyms or dining as online marketplaces such as Amazon continued to chip away at physical retailers' sales. Then the coronavirus showed up, and now many shopping malls across the country face the threat of shutting down. |
Tomorrow is tax day, and some late filers may deal with additional headaches attempting to submit their returns on time. A glitch in the IRS tool for "non-filers" checking on their stimulus payments might make it appear as if a 2019 tax return was already filed. What does that mean? Filers running into this issue might have to submit returns using old-fashioned paper. |
Finally, if you are working remotely, the eventual return to the office might look very different. What could change? Everything from the layout of your office to staggered shifts minimizing contact with groups of people are on the table. |
Want more headlines? I think you know what to do. |
