Trump arrives in New York ahead of historic court date |
Former President Donald Trump flew to New York on Monday in anticipation of his arraignment Tuesday. The first former president to ever be criminally charged, Trump is expected to have his mug shot and fingerprints taken, have the formal charges read and then plead not guilty "loudly and proudly," his lawyer Joe Tacopina said. The charges against Trump have yet to be revealed, but legal experts say he is likely facing multiple misdemeanors and at least one felony related to hush-money payments to two women. 👉 Follow our live coverage. | Protesters gather outside Trump Tower on Friday in New York. Millions under threat from massive snowstorm, dangerous tornadoes | What could evolve into the nation's biggest snowstorm of the year was forecast for a wide swath of the northern U.S. Monday through Wednesday, while parts of the Midwest and South were bracing for another round of tornadoes, especially on Tuesday. Almost 50 million people in cities such as Chicago, Tulsa, Oklahoma, St. Louis and Des Moines, Iowa, are all in the risk area for dangerous weather Tuesday, the National Weather Service said. From 68 to two. That's what's left of the NCAA men's tournament field after five rounds of play.
