Last night's Emmys were filled with big moments and historic firsts. JD Vance hosted Charlie Kirk's podcast following Kirk's death last week. And Trump's latest adversary is the NFL's new kickoff rule.

Emmy wins and the moments in-between

TV's biggest night has wrapped with newcomers "The Studio" and "The Pitt" taking home best comedy and best drama statues in their first seasons. Tramell Tillman made Emmys history as the first Black man to win best supporting actor in a drama for his performance in "Severance." And at just 15, "Adolescence" star Owen Cooper became the youngest male Emmy acting winner in history. Meanwhile, the "Gilmore Girls" reunited, Reba McEntire paid tribute to the "Golden Girls," and "Hacks" star Hannah Einbinder got bleeped for her anti-ICE and pro-Palestine speech. We take you behind the scenes for the moments you didn't see on TV.

Vance hosts Charlie Kirk podcast as investigation continues

Vice President JD Vance remembered the late Charlie Kirk as a "joyful warrior for our country" as he hosted "The Charlie Kirk Show" on Monday, just days after the conservative activist was killed.

"He loved America. He devoted himself tirelessly to making our country a better place," Vance said.
On the podcast, Vance also said the White House will target "left-wing extremism" following Kirk's death. Utah Gov. Spencer Cox, a Republican, has urged people not to jump to conclusions about possible motives and said more information will be released in charging documents on Tuesday.
While appearing on Fox News, FBI Director Kash Patel revealed new details about the investigation, saying that the suspect's DNA was found on items near the scene. See the latest updates on the investigation.

Everything you know about the 'divorce myth' is wrong

Maybe you've heard the statistic that 50% of marriages end in divorce. Turns out, that's just not true. In fact, data shows most marriages don't end in divorce and rates have been in steady decline since the 1980s. While marriages have also been in steady decline, those marriages appear stronger than unions in previous decades. 👉 Explaining the "divorce myth."

Trump's newest foe is the NFL kickoff rule

The NFL's new-look kickoff was implemented last year, and many consider it a success. Return rates are up significantly, while injuries were also reduced. But President Trump isn't a fan, and he took to Truth Social to bemoan the change, a year and two weeks late. "'Sissy' football is bad for America, and bad for the NFL! Who comes up with these ridiculous ideas?," he wrote. 🏈 Here's what has him upset.
