Dick Cheney's complicated legacy

Dick Cheney, who died Monday at 84 , will be remembered as perhaps the most powerful vice president in U.S. history. But he'll also be remembered as the architect of the Iraq War, a man who unapologetically challenged liberals and Democrats, who would become a vocal critic of Donald Trump and speak out about voting for Trump's 2024 opponent, Kamala Harris.

Officially the longest shutdown

The Senate once again failed to pass a short-term funding measure on Tuesday, meaning that the federal government shutdown will almost certainly go past the previous 35-day record stretch. Lawmakers said there are ongoing bipartisan discussions but so far, no deal has emerged as many government employees are on leave, or working with reduced or no pay.

Now the streaming network has revealed a refreshed look for the place "where the air is sweet" and everyone is your neighbor. What's new, what's the same, and when you (and your kids) can watch, even if you don't have Netflix.
