Welcome to the Daily Briefing. Start the week with these stories:

A Democratic senator slammed Trump's reaction to Robert Mueller's death.
It's an unparalleled moment in Bachelor Nation history.

Nicole Fallert here. There's a lot happening. Catch up with our News Quiz. Dive into Monday's news, from ICE's role at U.S. airports to a Supreme Court case involving mail-in ballots. And if Iowa just busted your bracket, you're not alone.

ICE is coming to airports. Here's what to know.

President Donald Trump said Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents will head to U.S. airports starting Monday to assist understaffed Transportation Security Administration employees amid the ongoing partial government shutdown.

It's not yet known which airports ICE agents will deploy to and how many agents will be involved. White House border czar Tom Homan on Sunday called the operation a "work in progress" and said ICE agents won't be manning X-ray machines, while Democratic Rep. Hakeem Jeffries slammed the move.

And it's not clear if ICE's mandate includes immigration enforcement at airports.

Are Americans canceling travel plans or powering through? Many are rethinking trips as safety concerns, rising costs and long security wait times shake confidence in flying.

Worst flooding in 20 years hits Hawaii. Kona storms, Hawaii's winter cyclones, wash out homes, damage roads and threaten to breach a dam.
Energy crisis escalates. The average U.S. gas price Sunday hit $3.94 per gallon, compared to $2.98 a gallon two days before the war with Iran began. Oil and gas are increasingly targets for both sides.
A limit to mail-in voting? A Republican push to limit mail-in ballots in elections is hitting the Supreme Court on Monday, and the case could have big implications for the upcoming midterms races.

The Wisconsin Badgers  beat Ohio State 3-2 Sunday to win their second consecutive NCAA women's hockey championship and avenge their loss to the Buckeyes in the WCHA championship earlier this month. Claire Enright scored the game-winner with 13:42 left after Ohio State had evened the game up with two goals in two minutes at the start of the third period.

March Madness

Welp! Iowa just busted America's brackets

The 2026 NCAA Men's Tournament had a game decided with a go-ahead bucket in the final five seconds. And this time, it knocked out the reigning national champion and one of the four No. 1 seeds. An Alvaro Folgueiras 3-pointer with 4.5 seconds remaining lifted  No. 9 seed Iowa to a 73-72 upset victory over Florida on Sunday. We're as stunned as the Iowa players were.
