Happy Friday! Ronnie here. It's National Good Samaritan Day, which feels right at home for us at Humankind. We're all about those small, quiet moments when strangers step in with kindness right when someone needs it most. Stick around till the end — I'll be sharing a few of the beautiful stories you sent in.

But first, let's take a look at some standout moments from this week, shall we?

🏃 A high school coach crossed the LA Marathon finish line in what looked like an impossible comeback— the final second will leave you speechless.

🏥 A 4-year-old waiting for a heart transplant started getting daily messages of encouragement… from a group of unlikely supporters in hard hats.

🐶 A 10-year-old dog named Rocky was lost in the Colorado mountains for 43 days—until a Ring camera captured something volunteers never expected.

Feeling inspired by the stories? Share this with someone you admire and let them know you appreciate them today. A small message can go a long way.

Last week, I asked you to share moments when a stranger showed you unexpected kindness. Here are a couple that stuck with me:

From @mysticpyratesbadgaming2901:

I was notified of the death of a friend that I had spoken to the previous day. When I took my dog outside, I was crying uncontrollably. A woman came up to me and just hugged me tightly. I sobbed for probably 5 minutes against this woman's shoulder. She didn't ask any questions, just said that she was glad she could be there for me. I don't know who she was and never saw her again, but I go out of my way now to help those in need.

From @spiraldown2077:

When I was 9, I had to take my first flight alone. I was in the aisle next to a stranger. A flight attendant noticed me, moved me to a window seat and gave me coloring books, snacks and juice. She checked on me often and really made everything feel much safer. That was 30 years ago, and I still remember her kindness. She showed up exactly when I needed someone.
