Rachel Tussey, a Ohio mother and TikTok personality, died March 17, 2026, after suffering a complication that followed her "mommy makeover" surgery. Nearly two weeks after being pulled off life support, Tussey died at a hospice center, lawyer Bernie Layne told The Cincinnati Enquirer. She is survived by her husband and three children. She was 47.

Shah Alam was detained by Border Patrol agents on Feb. 19, 2026, after his release from a county jail in Buffalo, New York, but was let go that same day after federal authorities determined he wasn't eligible for deportation. His family, expecting him to walk out of jail, wasn't informed he had   been released. Shah Alam's lawyer reported him missing to Buffalo police on Feb. 22 after learning that an immigration detention center didn't have him in custody. According to authorities and advocates, the Border Patrol agents had dropped him off at a restaurant north of downtown. Shah Alam was found dead on the street five days later.
