Mother of Mexico shooting survivor says Americans traveled for surgery; abduction probe continues |

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy declines President Volodymyr Zelensky's invite to visit Ukraine |
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky invited House Speaker Kevin McCarthy to visit Ukraine but the Republican leader declined the invite. The invitation follows disputes among GOP lawmakers about whether to send more aid to Ukraine. Zelensky told CNN that McCarthy should travel to the country to see the impact of Russia's invasion. But McCarthy said he has no plans to visit. Fox News' Tucker Carlson, an apparent ally and cheerleader for former president Donald Trump, actually couldn't wait for him to leave office, according to a text message that was released as part of a $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit. "I hate him passionately," Carlson wrote, according to the recently released court filings. The spicy revelation was just one of many buzzy details that were released in the trove of documents that are part of Dominion Voting Systems' lawsuit filed against Fox News.
